A. Our office has a strict No Reduction – No Fee policy, and as such, we absorb all related costs and fees associated with the appeal, other than the $15 filing fee per property charged by the County, which will be billed only when a reduction is achieved. Our office does not charge a fee to analyze your property to determine if your property is eligible for an appeal.
A. The County may NOT raise your assessment because of the filing of an appeal unless that is what you are requesting in the appeal.
A. The Contingent Fee Agreement is the contract between you, the taxpayer, and our office where you agree to pay 35% of the tax savings our office achieves on your behalf. It provides that you only pay us if we are successful in reducing your tax bill.
A. Our office recommends that an appeal is filed each year, even if the value hasn’t increased or has decreased. The Counties error in many different ways when calculating the taxable value of properties, and without filing an appeal, those mistakes will not be found.
